VERY informative…at least now I think I have a basic template as to how to proceed with procuring what I need. I’ll contact you as soon as I get my Medicare sign-up taken care of with Soc. Sec.

Thanks, Steve. From my experience talking to hundreds of people, Medicare can seem overwhelming. I thought a video explanation might be a good start for people.

    Hi,

I am 66 and presently have only Medicare A,B. I had a heart attack in 2002 and had a stent inserted. No problems since that time. I was also diagnosed with Type II diabetes about three years ago. I am not sick but do expect that these problems will eventually lead to major medical expenses in the not-too-distant future.

My wife turns 65 in July, 2010. She has had no health problems at all.

I suspect that I would need extensive supplemental protection sooner than later. She could probably get by with less protection for the foreseeable future.

What would be your suggestion for me and my wife? Medicare Supplement or Advantage?

    Could we enroll now?

    We live in Florence, AZ.

    Thanks for any advice.
